Robert Schlemer
Dynafit Product Manager
Meet Robert, our Product Manager at Dynafit.
He oversees the product portfolio and is also responsible for ensuring all equipment (skis, backpacks, poles, skins) are available on time, at the right price, in the right market and with the required quantity and quality.
As a joke, Robert participated in the world's toughest ski touring race, the "Patrouille des Glaciers", after another member of the Dynafit withdrew. This is because he is spontaneous, always ready for adventures, and available when help is needed.
Determination and perseverance are crucial, says the mountain biker, runner, kite surfer, and skier, who discovered his passion for ski mountaineering and the equipment as he started working with Dynafit.
Live and let live!
That is the motto of the young father, who loves to take on new experiences and to accept his limits, when he manages to overcome them. That's why he doesn't need medals nor rounds of applause – it’s his self-awareness that matters. He likes challenging tasks and projects that take a long time to develop, not only in sports but also at work. Robert likes to discover new things, loves to travel, and enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter Marla.
He is not just sporty but also a real team player. During soccer training when he was a child he was taught that: "You don't have to take yourself too seriously, because it's not the individual accomplishment that counts, but the way you achieve your goals as a group". This is his credo. This is the attitude he shares with his colleagues too. The enthusiasm for sports, honest relationships with each other, and deep mutual trust make Dynafit an unbeatable team. He would have never imagined working for the same company for more than 10 years, but he still enjoys every day he is spending with his colleagues and with the products. What his colleagues appreciate the most about him is that even in difficult situations, he keeps calm, reflects upon the situation, and then makes decisions. His family, good friends, and mountain sports are important sources of energy and inspiration for him.
